Small Group Pilates involves specialised Pilates equipment to support and guide movement during exercises. Small Group Pilates can improve flexibility, strength & balance, as well as increase cardiovascular fitness & circulation. It can also be beneficial for injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Reformer Pilates

The Reformer was invented by Joseph Pilates and is a unique bed-like piece of equipment that uses springs, straps (ropes), pulleys, and a rolling carriage to provide a full-body workout for a variety of levels and training outcomes. Reformer Pilates is a fantastic for building core strength, challenging and supporting balance and coordination as well as keeping our minds active!

Mat Pilates/Open Studio Pilates

Here at Bodyfit we offer an array of both traditional Mat Pilates and Open Studio Pilates classes. Pilates aligns your entire body’s overall structure and supports its joints. What may appear to look simple can be deceptively challenging and incredibly effective when done correctly with good form.

Pilates is a challenging low impact exercise method that balances strength with mobility, aligns the body, fine-tunes movement patterns, and strengthens the deeper muscles of the core.
